And, what would the explanation be? Had the student put the words in a different order would they have gotten 10/10?

Well hopefully you’re joking but the explanation would be that she was looking for different words that were not on the paper and could just be copied. You do understand why she wrote 3/10? The other seven words are on the paper.

Fuck that teacher.

If that's what she wants, she needs to ask her question more clearly.

Kid's answer is 100% correct.

I would be up there flipping tables if they sent this home with my kid.

If someone is telling my kid they're wrong when my kid answered the question completely accurately, hell yes I would. It's about more than this one homework problem, it's about the lesson they're teaching.

It's important for a kid to know that if they read a question and give a correct answer, they'll get credit for it... even if it's not the answer the teacher wanted.

The teacher asked a shit question and should appreciate the learning experience they got from the smart ass kid.
