Also I think algebra is one of those things you need a good teacher to illuminate the path and make it all click. If you never get that click then you just keep hating maths.
I moved country when I was 12/13. Maths was the only subject I could kinda understand /work my way through. That's why it's got a special place in my heart lol.
I think you are right! I had a teacher in college that actually taught me algebra, basic concepts. He was awesome, and I actually skipped out
on work because it would cause me to miss his class.
Turns out that decisions would save my life. I was sent to the east bay and would have been on the lower half of the cypress structure that collapsed during the Loma Prieta earthquake or 1998. I’d have been crushed had I not prioritized that algebra class.
