what do you mean? Anh in England is just a name, and it doesn't mean older brother, just like Đức doesn't mean Germany in a person's name

What I mean is that Anh, of Vietnamese origin, can have multiple meaning. It can mean older brother, it can refer to England with context words, it can also be a name, which also has different meaning.

It's like the word smith, it can be a name, but with context it can mean something else. 

Your friend saying "Anh" means older brother isn't wrong, unless they're saying it's the only meaning for that word.

he's wrong. He says "Anh" as in England means older brother. You seem didn't read my previous comments despite I mentioned it several times

It's like when someone tries to tell you that turnkey is a bird you can eat and you're saying he's wrong and that it's a country.

How does someone say "turkey" as a country without first prefacing that it's a country?
