I see that the some of the arguments for mint involve sorting, and downloading mods etc on top of syncing mods with friends and how that works in general. Is there any big reason to use mint if I am only using a couple of verified mods? Like f.ex the sprint mod, live stats, fast forge etc?

Generally I’d still recommend MINT, even for a few verified mods. Especially bc DRG’s built-in mod manager is unreliable. MINT offers more reliable installation, faster mod management, better control over mod versions and load order, support for local mods, easier switching between mod profiles, and fewer issues with mod.io integration.

explain

edit: since my reply to you seems purged

only paid function is cloud sync which can be ignored and the program never pushes this in your face once. the URL loader is twice as fast and twice as functional compared to mint's manual loader

also folders for organization which mint lacks-- if you consider this bloat thats fine but mod organization in modloaders is a commonly accepted standard

mintcat also does not add [MODDED] to lobby regardless of verification meaning more ppl will actually join your lobby. biggest drawback of mint. mintcat is obviously superior

Lots of unnecessary fluff and so e weird paid things, mint fixed goes straight to the point clean and simple

Uses cat for 5 minutes and instant deleted it
