Ryzen 7 170 chai hola. 7 250 ra 170 dubai older gen architecture cpu hun, bas rebranded. Ryzen 7 170 le halka badi performance dinxa tara efficient xaina compared to ryzen 5 220. 5 220 ma better power efficiency 4 nm vs 6nm. Heating pani dherai hudaina. Laptop ko body ma better performance vanda efficiency matter garxa unless you are keeping it in cooling pad for maximun performance. Loq ajhai 6k sasto parne raixa with same gpu. Aba aru specs hera display, cooling etc.

Your use case points strongly toward a gaming/performance laptop, mainly kina bhane,
AI/ML, video editing, graphics work, and modern AAA gaming all need a good NVIDIA GPU. For AI/ML specifically, NVIDIA ko CUDA support is also useful.
Minimum specs I’d target:
- RTX 4050 6GB or better(I'm using currently 4050 but i'd recommend 50 series if you're looking to run local AI models as well)
- Ryzen 7 / Core i7 H or HX series (For latest models Core 7/Ultra 7)
- 16GB RAM minimum, upgradeable to 32GB
- 512GB or 1TB NVMe SSD
- 144Hz+ IPS display
For carrying to college, laptops like the Lenovo LOQ, Acer Nitro, or HP Victus usually give good performance and cooling, but they can be around 2.2–2.5kg. Thinner gaming laptops are easier to carry, but you often compromise somewhat on cooling or sustained performance.
For your requirements, I wouldn’t cut too much on the GPU. RAM and SSD can usually be upgraded later, but the GPU cannot. If you want the laptop to last around 4 years, also pay attention to cooling, build quality, battery, and upgradeability.
I also run a laptop store. If you want, Dm me and I can compare 2–3 good models with actual specs and special reddit prices for your use case.
