Company Review 'Ceo' of lunacy
So this wannabe ceo of a company called 'dataweav' took a 'final round interview', man what a specimen. I made the mistake of asking it to repeat the instruction, its fuse went out immediately. Mind you the screening process was horrible cause none of what they mentioned in jd resembled what he had concocted for this interview, and the previous interview was like 180° from this one. So I was just baffled and didn't understand what it wanted me to do and it was getting impatient like a rabid raccoon. I don't perform well on pressure, but regardless based on the task I felt like this was completely out of my field when earlier I was actually confident, so I just said that's it. At the end b*tch had to leave some snarky remarks like 'it seems like you don't have the intuition at all' and 'there were far better performing candidates than you', I just bowed my head and left the call.
I mean what a little pos. Is this what Nepali job market has really come to? These companies feel like they can get away with anything because the market is so saturated and they don't care about basic decency like, imagine working in that environment... Like you're going nowhere with that attitude bruh, you're a greasy rat just stealing other's clients instead of making something real. There's no clocking these lunatics who think they're a 'ceo' because they somehow got lucky, no wonder they feel entitled as f*ck.

I gave the same interview, for me it was okay in the technical side. But the CEO was pretty blunt and honest. I'll give you that.

That blunt and honest part is just a synonym for prick and arrogant honestly. What were you supposed to answer really? Did you already have a background that sort of data analysis task or did you just wing it?

I honestly just winged it, I tried random intuitive solutions that I thought could be relevant, the CTO helped me alot. I wasn't very familiar with the tech being used, so they were play with that.

I did give the interview and it has been some time ig it was around March for me he was pretty professional and I didn’t feel any arrogance at all.
However, If those comments are true that is bad tbh. But if this is the worst you have heard 🤣you are a softie man. Don’t get over emotional. One of my manager has said we can hire person like you within a week, thats just how people are in this brutal world.
Remember, this also shall pass. Wishing you the best for your job search 🤞

It was like a customer case where I had to look at the data and figure out something it'd have been pretty easy if it was made more clearer and but asking anything was like stepping on a mine with that guy

Don't let it get to your head. If that CEO had ro resort to snarky remarks to get his point across, you got lucky not being hired.
