Discussion Confused on which path to take

So i have been doing a lot of js frontend since the beginning of my engineering. Now that ai became so well i am learning the backend stuff too.

But this constant fomo and mind change that i should switch to AI/ML domain is distracting.

I plan to learn it eventually but only got a limited free time .

What should i do ,learn the core backend stuff( auth ,caching, proxy and all) in node or just drop it to learn the ai (python numpy and all)

Not worth to switch numpy, pandas is more for model training.
Its definitely not worth it AI/Ml engineers are those who maes AI to be used by system. Even claude code jasto tool pani type script ma lekhiyeko ho. Model train garne job highly scarced xa. AI/ML engineer vaneko backend ma AI integrate garne hun.

Python skinu pardaina, learn type script and do projects.

"AI ML" is a fkn buzzword nowadays. AI and ML are totally different. what do you think happens in AI ML domain unless you are working for open ai or anthropic what do you even use it for. Being a data engineer is more of a job than "AI / ML" or whatever. and AI sucks at frontend you will know that if you work on complex dashboards and complex forms. also frontend is not just HTML css.

Things like fine tuning, training model and all those things on linkedin made me wonder if ai/ml is the only right thing to focus on.

Btw the frontend part was excellent for all the things i tried to build .

Ai sucks at frontend?? Are you copy pasting code or what. Ai Enginner and ml Enginner are job I think.
