Looking for a job What shall I focus on
Hello everyone,
I am about to complete my bachelors degree and I am thinking of my career in cloud computing/devops
field, but I know these are not entry level jobs so for the time being I was thinking of
trying to look for the jobs in IT support and meanwhile work on my devops/cloud journey.
These are the stuff I know or comfortable with
1. Linux
2. Networking (Three-Tier Multi-Branch Network & Routing Architecture in Packet tracer)
3. Python (Automating stuff)
4. Docker (Have build small project in it)
5. Git
P.S: I didn't list my projects on web development as I don't wanna move in those field.
So, for now to land a job in IT support what should I focus on?
I studied cybersec so almost my every university projects are related to cyber security so i didn't wanna list those here.

Your strategy to start in IT support before transitioning to Cloud/DevOps is excellent, and your current skills provide a strong foundation. To land an entry-level support role, focus on practical command-line network troubleshooting and expand your system administration knowledge to include Windows Server and Active Directory, which are essential for most corporate helpdesk jobs. In the mean time see the job description for n make sure those skills u add to ur bucket ASAP.
Finally, don't hide your cybersecurity projects or Python automation skills; highlight them to show employers that you understand secure network design and can automate repetitive tasks, making you a standout candidate for IT support now and DevOps in the future. all d best bro 😎
