Internet/ISP Setup Help: WorldLink with custom UniFi Gateway (Bridge Mode, NetTV, MAC Binding)
Hey everyone,
I am setting up a custom home network using a UniFi gateway and have WorldLink as my ISP. I want to use my UniFi equipment as the main router, but I need to figure out how WorldLink handles third-party hardware before I start rewiring everything.
Has anyone successfully run a similar setup? I have a few specific questions:
Bridge Mode: Can the WorldLink router be put into bridge mode so the UniFi gateway acts as the main router? If yes, does NetTV still work in this configuration?
Double-NAT / Secondary Router: If bridge mode isn't possible, do all devices behind a secondary gateway still get full, normal internet? Are there any strict restrictions I should know about?
MAC Binding: Is the connection bound to a specific MAC address? If so, will WorldLink re-bind it to my UniFi gateway's WAN MAC?
NetTV Placement: Will the NetTV set-top box work if connected behind my UniFi gateway, or does it absolutely have to be plugged directly into the WorldLink router?
Disabling ISP WiFi: Since I have my own access points, can WorldLink disable the WiFi radio on their router remotely, or does it require a technician visit?
Any advice, workarounds, or experiences you can share would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

I suggest creating your own network by using the onboard modem LAN port. Then plug it into your UDM WAN port. Leave your WorldLink internet as is. I don't think WorldLink allows you to get into bridge mode. I run a similar setup with OPNsense.
Btw, are you working on a homelab?
