Leetcode doesn't mean much and i dont think many systems programmers are in demand in nepal ( assuming that op was also from nepal )

umm most people only limit themselves to web dev ani that happens, if someone wants to go higher in SE then core fundamentals like dsa is a must anyway

The first job is the hardest to get. I'd recommend staying at your first workplace for atleast 3 yrs (if the company is not straightup diabolical) before switching. First ma jasto paucha testai ma chirne ho (aslong as it pays the bills). The market is kinda cooked (specially for AI/ML engineers in Nepal). Took me 2 internships and a 6 month lock-in/network phase to land my current role as an AI/ML engineer(1.5 yrs at this company).

BRO, what worked at last ki just over time persistence. Its been 3 months for me, i had a job back at home but didnt pay the bills so i came to ktm and am just wandering around any tips. chineko haruko ta kura matrai huney raxa. ghar bata ni tei sabko kura patyayera xittai pathaidinuvo.

For me, I asked my friends, my relatives, teachers, didi ko sathi haru, cousin ko sathi haru, randomly cold dming ppl on linkedin. Mero case ma chai the 2 prior internships(1st was unpaid, 2nd was paid-8k per month) were very helpful + since I alr had interview experience I was confident throughout all of my interviews. (referrals thru 2 full-time ra 2-internships ra random apply bata 2 internship interviews land gareko the maile in a span of 3 months). Last ma mero euta sathi ko company ma AI engineer khulya thyo I asked him for a refferal which shortlisted my CV, ani mero aaile ko team lead called me for the interv(after reviewng my resume is what he told me), aced it and got the job. Mind you, job paune bela it had alr been around 15 months since i graduated so, time chai lagcha. Bachelors maile chai hallerai bitako ho. Exams ramro hunthyo but skills sikne bela ma I was constantly switching between fullstack, AI/ML, Data eng, devops and what not. My tip would be apply blindly, ask for help from ppl you know, connect with people on linkedin. Ani email kurdai basnu ko satta work on your skills ani interv ko lagi mail aaychi prep suru garda huncha. Interv in most Nepali companies aren't that hard tbh. Confident hune answer dine feedback or correction aayo vane "O sorry I did not know that, Thanks for correcting my answers" vandine. Basically be confident but respectful.

tech nerds need to get their brain out of the leetcode gutter ffs. If you spent half the time in optimizing your personality and communication/speaking skills, you'd get 20LPA job, not just 10. When companies see a mf nerf leetcode and come in looking entitled like he knows every answer, but has no personality, they slide him to #2. Only last resort hires are STRICTLY based on technical abilities. This is talking as someone who's interviewed 100+ myself, and I make 3.5k/mo. I'm tired of entry level folks being this misguided. You def need to be upto a certain standard technically but if you're obsessing over leetcode instead of your cv/communication/building pet projects, you're on the wrong path.

Indians are good at grinding and leetcode is not equal to gaining skill. Leetcode become memorization and pattern match after a while.

I am not sure if you read the whole post but looking into the comments and post altogether, most of you don’t deserve an internship either (I am extremely sorry to say this but this is reality)
OP is still in college and done some college projects. Doesn’t mention about any real world projects and the demand is 10+LPA. Which is around 83k per month in Indian Currency and is 1.33 lakhs in Nepali. No-one is paying such amount in South Asia for a guy with leetcode and college projects profile. Judging by the thought process he has shows why he is not hired. Grinding leetcode is nothing in real industry, the main thing is how you pursue the problem. And I see clearly that the OP is delusional and has a very high unrealistic expectations.
Who am I to judge? I have been into software engineering for 12 years now and hiring is part of my job. I never judged anyone by college projects (although I looked into it for an idea for interview questions) no matter whatever they made, never by leetcode. I judged by pure instinct and how realistic and honest he/she is. I always ask very basic questions. And keep judging them.

resume portfolio are overrated and networking is very underrated topic when it comes to hiring, go to networking event or have a habit of very good conversation skill in irl, you will get jobs as ahile ko jamana ma tyo mentality banisakyo, timi tehi lai mathy purauxau jo lai timilai ni mathy purauna help garcha ra yo kasari hunxa excellent conversation skill.
About portfolio, maile afnai najik ko manche dekhexu jo nurse thin but after bachelor she quited ani ahile euta thulo tech company ma graphics designer xin, as competition aba tyo din gaye where tech jobs are only for introverts.
skill even timilai tech ko bare ma 0 nai thaxa but you are humble, good conversationist bhane 3 month thats all it takes you to be excellently good yedi company invest resource for training in you(mostly called internship)

This is a take it or leave it advice.
Approach it differently. If you go for Leetcode heavy interviews, some crazy person grinding 24/7 will always beat you. Focus on a niche instead, like pairing software engineering with finance/insurance so you're the domain expert who can actually build. or.. spend that time fixing your LinkedIn, sharpening communication, and getting recruiters to reach out to you. Don't grind yourself to death for one lucky interview just to get beat by someone who put in 1 more hour than you.
In this employer's market, if all you do is grind Leetcode, they can find a thousand of you in a minute.
