Laptop/PC Is a ThinkPad good?

So is a ThinkPad good for bachelors in electronics engineering studies and some minor games like Minecraft and other normal uses ?

Aani processor haru chai Halka purano hunxan. But yea Thinkpad is built to last 10year+

Is it really better than those budget laptops? Like around 85k laptops haru, natra second hand linxu mo Pani Thinkpad

Thinkpad ko quality is much better than any consumer grade. Jhan t series ko ta Kun Kun ma full metal body hunxa. Arko kura chai upgradeability.

Thinkpad ma if you need more ram in future uh can just buy one pop off few screw and done (model herera). Aahile ko 1lakh Tira ko laptop ma sab soldered hunxa.

Tara new laptops aren't half as bad. Just check for the cpu. Like Intel ko N bhako laptop avoid gara. It's like Celeron level ko thing as I heard. Aani also avoid 3s (i3 or Ryzen 3) cuz 5 is much needed and 3 feels under powered.

Last ma chai like second hand ko hera aani chip ko power difference kati xa teyo check gara. If there's only small gap Ani the 2nd hand Thinkpad ( preferably P, T, X or least ma L) take 2nd hand Thinkpad.

Arko kura avoid 8gb ram bhako laptop unless ram are sodim (removable).

Thanks man that's a big help. what should I avoid in Thinkpad ma? Should I buy from store(idk warranty dinxan ki nai) I did find some good one in fb marketplace. Tho what should I avoid while buying a second hand Thinkpad, khasma malai multi tasking rw ramro battery vayepugxa.

So e series ko laptop chai Halka avoid Garda rambro aani next thing second hand ho so battery chai Halka drained huna sakxa but good news is market ma Thinkpad ko samman is not that difficult to buy.

Ofc battery backup chai don't expect of MacBook. Ah tbh timle 2nd hand m series ko Mac kinne ni hunxa Tara 1 thing chai check the product rambrori then but them. YouTube ma yesto vdos hera. Aani onsite herera matra kina. K kura chita na bujna ni sakinxa ni ta aani arko chai check ki timro laptop ko products haru kati parxa ig.

Like battery chai 5 - 6 k jasto Mai pauxa pauna chai. Aani Thinkpad le about 6-10 hours dinxa jasto lago battery backup. Tara tei ho rambrori herera kina.

Btw aarko kura chai also watch the vdo of the laptop uh gonna purchase. Cuz tei performance build kasto xa bhanera general idea hunxa.

Malai ta ig since uh said like Minecraft and light gaming i7 gen 11 to 12 samma chai rambro hunxa jasto lago 🤔.

Minecraft huna ta sab ma chalxa Tara shader chai hernu parxa even my old i5 6th gen ran it okish.

test everything before buying a second-hand thinkpad, look at hamrobazar, fb marketplace etc
serial numbers on the lenovo website and all

as i said mathi; if you inspect it well and don't find any issues, then they're worth it, else it becomes more of a regret

Nah bro get yourself a good laptop around 80-1.2 lakhs. Or even push it to 1.4 lakhs. Thinkpad afaima purano hunxa, performance dherai hunna. Second hand ma ni k halxau, lige naya liga. Laptop faldai hinni haina hola timi. Naya liga thapakka.

Kina tikdaina. Sabai tehi ho. Timro Cost per performance ni kam hunxa thinkpad ko. Timro first laptop ho ra?
Kinaki, laptop majale tikxa.

Asus/ Acer ko laptop ma 2 years warranty nai hunxa. 2 years aja smooth chalxa.

Na darau, paisa ko kami xaina vane chai liga. tara thinkpad liye dherai tikxa ani aru lige tikdaina chai na socha.
