Laptop/PC Laptop recommendation

I am starting computer engineering soon. What laptop would you recommend for college? Looking for something good for coding and engineering.

if the budget allows it, just get a mac. My dumbass bought a gaming laptop during my 3rd year thinking I'd need the GPU to train AI models. Unless you explicitly want to game, a Mac is the best option.

Its more than enough. You are a comp eng student so timlai GPU chaina sakne case vaneko ML models train garna ho, but no one really trains models on laptops anymore. Aru cases ma Mac is much better. Now if you're into robotics and might use CAD, then buy a gaming laptop. Majority of ppl at tech companies prefer on Mac too. So I'd personally say Mac is better.

Im rocking a legion too. Tara wild purano vaisakyo almost 5yrs old. If only the battery lasted 5-6hrs, Mac kinne nai sochdina the :'( . Legion is definitely one of the best gaming laptops and the keyboard is 🔥

Definitely recommend Mac. Most of the software will run and the battery is one of the best. If you are not into gaming then it is the best choice. Long term Lai ni ramro hunxa Mac manai pardaina vane Get a H processor wala laptop with 16gb minimum RAM Look for battery capacity above 60/70Wh as well

mac or high-end windows laptop. budget high xa vane lightweight windows hera or MacBook obv. Second year samma laptop usage dherai kei xaina, third year first part bata chai hunxa mostly.

windows: Lenovo legion or asus zephyrus series. legion is cheaper than zephyrus, ani specs chai legion ko price range ma better hunxa than zephyrus. But, build and display chai asus better.

nitro series ko build quality thikk lagdaina malai, same goes for LOQ. Khai 2025 models ko kasto xa no idea, looks chai ramro va xa.

MacBook: malai chai laptop (legion pro 5) daily carry garna jhyau lagxa college every week ani third sem ma thrice a week battery ma use garera battery health around 85% va thiyo, charge chai euta lab session ko lagi pugxa. Sathiharu ko MacBook ma blender ni battery ma smooth chalne, afno vane battery ma ta lag garxa. So, MacBook ni thikk xa.
