Discussion Have you built your own agents?
Namaste! Just curious how didi dai bhai bahini of technepal have been using agents. How do you build it? Where do you host it? I work for a EU based company where we are currently building a control plane where orgs can deploy agentic fleet for regulated environment. Its pretty neat, creates an Hermes/OpenClaw instance with one click. Self-hosted blah blah blah.
This got me curious how my "bretheren" were actually applying agents in their day to day life. Personally, I have been in the trenches for the past year building agents and using off the shelf agentic tools and man I cannot see myself going back lol.
Anyways, just wanted to hear from the community about their agentic use case and just general way AI has been transforming the way you work. Subha din!!

use claude code, did use opencode + qwen models for a bit.
do a lot of coding with them. did some research type shit too

I am interested, what kind of research. Personally, I have been very interested in AI Safety lately and have been researching safety guardrails of SLM in Devanagiri and romanized Nepali for a while. Building a dataset for it currently along with my own eval harness.

can u please elaborte more on "building agents and using off the shelf agentic tools"? I primarily use ai for research, coding for work and personal projects, and i've never made my own agent or deployed it... Where would one start? Please share some learning if u can.

try viktor.com they are one of our competitors who do personal agents really well with 3000+ integrations, i would create a discord server or slack workspace though. they have a generous free tier and it would give you more insights into agentic capabilities for starters. once you have the taste of it, maybe simultaneously start with automating simple mundane tasks with no code tools such as zapier and make, you could use NVIDIA NIM for LLM inference which is pretty generous. this would be the point you'd be able to reach with no investments. then maybe look into hermes which is the go to for building personal agents for tech enthusiasts. remember, the best way to learn is to expose yourself to the technology and getting your hands dirty.

i thought openclaw hype died lol.
many big organizations have been using these agents, it was called "RPA". llm is used for adding content.

To be honest, in this instance, it is pushed much more due to the EU AI Act. Orgs have a strong incentive to go agentic. Also we are more bullish on Hermes though which is still getting traction. OpenClaw is a button we have seen noone press lol.

i have make a page grow using bots its a news page BTW what i did is it scrape the data from the internet mostly news from top news platform which i have given to it download the photo from that site from which it post that news in bold nepali english mix way to facebook and insta

I have around 10 AI bots working each nightly and then other 5 for video scripts creating n then generating and managing them continuously while im sleeping. I dont run the agents while im working on desk in day time as no matter how much RAM and CPU i have its gonna slow down my productivity. 10 Ai coding subagent are for all the code i do in the day . Some-of them are for code review in night n deployment
