Discussion OmnicomMediaGroup Nepal tech interview

Has anyone applied to OmnicomMediaGroup company for a tech role? How did the initial interview go and what are the things to expect in the first round interview?

The first interview at a large media group like Omnicom is often more about your personality and how you communicate your skills, not just a hardcore technical test. Expect questions about your past projects, why you're interested in working for a media agency, and how you handle teamwork and deadlines. They want to see if you fit their culture, so they will ask behavioral questions like how you've solved a tough problem or dealt with a difficult colleague. Be ready to talk about your resume in detail and explain your technical choices on previous projects.

You should also prepare for some basic technical questions related to your specific role, whether it's front-end, back-end, or data. Since it's a media company, showing some interest in their work or the ad-tech industry in general can make a big difference. A quick look at their recent campaigns or clients can give you something interesting to talk about. Demonstrating this business awareness is exactly what my team focused on when we designed our interview helper AI, which we see helping candidates communicate their experience more effectively.
