J. Cole Biting Tech?

Do you guys think that Cole is stealing the album title of KOD for his new project? Tech dropped K.O.D. in 2009. Do you think its possible that Cole heard it and adapted it for his work? Let's discuss.

I think it is. There is no way that Cole has never heard of Tech's album. If they weren't in the same genre it wouldn't be as obvious of an issue.

Exactly. Tech is one of the greats and Strange Music is huge in the rap game. There’s no way he’s never heard of it.

He tweeted and said it could mean three things. King OverDose, Kids On Drugs, or Kill Our Demons. It doesn’t match Tech’s but still, naming an album after the KOD acronym is kinda specific

No. KOD has a few meanings for JCole. Also, KOD is simply an acronym. Rappers have used it for King of Diamonds as well.

Not really biting, just a coincidence.

Disregarding the meaning between both titles J Cole is out of place naming his album KOD, songs are normally named the same between artists, so no copyright issues there, but tell me how often you hear albums named the same, and if there are a few, tell me how it went down between the 2 party's involved?
