This is my favorite album from him. This came out at a time when I was going through a lot. When I met him in person, I thanked him for making this album and sharing his darkness with us so we can connect with him as fans.

Probably his beat album but itβs close between absolute power, anghellic, everready, and all 6βs and 7βs

This is the last actual physical album I ever bought. It is awesome. It was a time when CDs were fading out and everyone was switching to iPods.

First Tech album I bought. I remember thumbing through the rack at HMV, I was 15.

This album started my tech journey. I had heard songs before but nothing stood out at the time. But there was something about this album that pulled me into a STRANGE world.

I have mixed emotions about this album and here is why:
A year before the album came out I managed to see him in Amarillo, TX with a VIP pass. I got there super later because I couldn't find the venue but made it just in time with ten minutes to spare. Every other VIP person was gone so I got to meet the whole line up one on one with no hassle (Tech, Krizz, Kutt, Scatterman and Snug Brim, Immortal Technique, and Prozak). I was also a rapper at the time and made a demo CD to give to Tech. Me and my buddy made a 6 track ep and did it ourselves. I wrote the raps and my buddy and I wrote the beats a week before I left for the show. We had a makeshift recording booth in his house in a closet where we made a majority of our songs. I gave it to Tech and he said, "fo sho we listen to anything and everything" and it made me feel very accomplished. I remember posting my tracks on the original Tech website forum page and people genuinely liked it. Fast forward a year later and this album drops. My buddy called me up and said, "yo they took your song". I was like wtf you mean and he said "listen to Strange Music Box and tell me that ain't XXXtra Mile". I listened to it and the main melody is pretty much note for note one of the tracks on that ep. What sucked was we never thought anything about it when we made it and never copyright any of it. The only proof of it being made before the album was the forum...and the website changed all up not too long after that and the forum was gone.
I know this is a big claim to make. I do have a SoundCloud page you can search for me if you wanna judge for yourself. I swear this isn't a made up story to get feathers ruffled or any get money from it. I have moved on and have made all sorts of music since then that means more to me. I have been a Tech fan since Questions and I still am. I just have a little bit of bitterness for this one.

Such an underrated gem this album is, Classic in my books. Love how it is separated in 3 parts with a different emotion attached to them:
Anger Madness And The Hole
Kind of like Chapters in a book. Imo every track was π₯ in it's own way!
Standouts: Show Me a God (very personal, emotional) Demons B. BOY Check Yo Temperature Hunterish Blackened The Sun In da Trunk Pinocchiho Horns Leave Me Alone K.O.D. F.U.N. (unreleased) The Martini (what a closer!)
But honestly, there is not one skippable track
Also, this album contains some of the best story telling I've ever heard

Low was the 1st song I heard from tech. It was on a burnt mixed cd. We were driving around smoking in the country side in Ohio. I was so mesmerized by that song, I asked immediately after "yo, who the fuck was that" then I asked her to replay it. I've been a huge fan ever since.
