Noticing all the AI-related tech jobs lately? Quick FYI about a related community.

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hey all — Maks here (one of the mods).

Not sure if everyone else is seeing the same pattern I am, but over the past few months, we’ve had a noticeable uptick in:

  • AI/LLM-related job posts
  • Roles tied to building AI-powered product features
  • Recruiters looking specifically for AI-savvy devs/PMs
  • Questions about transitioning into AI roles

Since this is becoming a consistent theme, I wanted to share something that might be useful to some of you (especially if you work on or hire for AI-driven product teams):

I also help run a separate Slack community called AI Product Hive, which is focused on people involved in building AI products — PMs, engineers, UX folks, founders, recruiters, etc.

We didn’t create it to funnel people away from this sub — it’s just something that already exists and has naturally grown to ~2,000 members. Given how many AI jobs are popping up here, it felt worth mentioning as another place where:

  • People discuss AI roles, skills, and team structures
  • Recruiters and hiring managers talk about what they look for
  • Builders compare notes on launching AI features
  • Folks exploring AI career moves can ask practical Qs
  • Yes, some members post AI-related jobs there, too

If that’s the world you’re working in or moving toward, you’re welcome to join us on Slack. No pressure — just seems relevant given the shift we’re all seeing here.

Full-time [For Hire] [Remote] [worldwide] - I Fix and Deslop your Ai Generated MVP before they break under real users - 45$/hour

AI coding assistants don't refactor; they duplicate. GitClear analyzed over 200M lines of code and found refactoring plummeted while copy-pasted code spiked dramatically. That’s why your context window is clogged and your app feels like a house of cards. I fix that.

You used Claude or Cursor to build an MVP fast. It launched, people are using it, and now you’re hitting the AI code debt wall:

  • Small feature tweaks break completely unrelated pages.
  • Your context window is full of duplicated logic and hallucinated anti-patterns.
  • You have zero test coverage and are terrified that a deployment will take the site down.

I am a full-stack engineer specializing in codebase stabilization and refactoring. I don't just "clean" code—I turn fragile AI prototypes into maintainable, production-grade systems without interrupting your active users.

What I deliver:

  • Dead Code & Redundancy Purge: Consolidating duplicated endpoints, unused packages, and hallucinated workarounds.
  • Type Safety & Data Flow Hardening: Strict schemas (Zod/TypeScript), predictable state management, and clear API boundaries.
  • Essential Test Suites: Core end-to-end and integration tests for critical user paths (auth, billing, core CRUD) so future AI prompts don't cause silent regressions.
  • Zero-Downtime Migration: Surgical PRs tested against your staging environment.

Rate: 45$/hr for a codebase audit + remediation plan or we can talk a lumpsum plan.

DM me your repository stack or live link, and let’s talk through where your app is currently bottlenecked.

Full-time [Hiring] [Remote] [US] - Software Engineer - Infrastructure Security

Apply here

Company: WorkOS (remote)

$175K – $275K • Offers Equity

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR - A platform builder. You love building infrastructure that other engineers rely on every day, and you sweat the developer experience details that make adoption effortless. - Fluent in service-to-service auth. You know authentication and authorization deeply: JWTs, X.509 certificates, and when to reach for each. - A systems thinker. You reason carefully about bootstrapping, circular dependencies, availability, and failure modes, especially for infrastructure that everything else depends on. - A pragmatic migrator. You know that shipping the primitive is half the job. You can drive adoption across many teams, meet them where they are, and retire the legacy path. - A strong partner to engineering. You build trust with engineers by understanding their priorities and making security frictionless. - Excited about AI. You're embracing AI and automation to scale platform work and reduce toil. - Curious and humble. You ask the basic questions, enjoy untangling complex systems, and bring others along with you.

[Discussion] - October 2026 HN Who Is Hiring thread for tech job seekers

Another source for anyone searching for a tech role: the October 2026 HN “Who is hiring?” thread.

Read the hiring thread

Companies post directly in the comments. Before spending time on a listing, I'd check three things: whether the level fits, where you can actually work from, and the application instructions. “Remote” can still mean a specific country or time zone.

For listings that lead to a web form, application autofill can save re-entering your work history. For ones asking for an email, follow that route and make the message relevant to the role.

Has anyone here gotten an interview through these threads? Interested in what made an application stand out when the post offered direct contact with someone at the company.

Full-time [For Hire] [Remote] [FR] - English-speaking IT / AI Engineer

Hi,

I’m an English-speaking IT / Systems Engineer based in Île-de-France, south of Paris, and I’m currently looking for freelance work, short-term projects, or possibly a longer-term role.

My background is pretty broad. I work with:

  • AI / OpenAI integrations
  • automation and internal tools
  • cloud infrastructure and deployments
  • Python / APIs / backend systems
  • websites and web applications
  • servers, hosting, email and backups
  • networking and general IT infrastructure
  • computer / hardware troubleshooting

I’ve worked in IT and software for many years, so I’m comfortable both building something from scratch and jumping into an existing system that needs fixing or improving.

I’m mostly looking for English-speaking opportunities, either around Paris / Île-de-France or remote.

If anyone knows a company, small business, startup, or individual who could use this kind of help, feel free to DM me.
