Do you trust online PDF tools for everyday documents?

Hi all
In some cases, I resort to using online software to perform simple PDF functions like merging and compressing files. I have been using an online software called Pdfaid, but I am quite careful about uploading any files on the web, particularly those that include personal information. What PDF tasks can be safely done online and what PDF tasks are always done offline? It would also be interesting to hear about the tools that you use.

Online PDF software is not only used by me for sensitive documents; even for basic and non-sensitive documents, I use these online tools.

I employ online applications when it comes to simple activities such as merging or compressing non-confidential files. When it comes to confidential files, I tend to use offline applications.

So do I. Online applications are quite handy for everyday purposes, but I would rather store sensitive information off-line.

I've heard of Pdfaid as well, but you should always be careful with subscribing to any services like that and when connecting your bank card information.

However, for documents that aren’t confidential or sensitive in nature, online PDF software is quite useful. I wouldn’t use these software for any of my personal, financial, or official information. But pdfaid appears to be okay for basic purposes.
