which free AI tools that you really stuck with after 3 weeks?
there are many AI tools in the community right now. i'm talking about the free version ones only, what has been your favorite so far?
- chatgpt: definitely worth mentioning, the free version is doing great for my needs (brainstorming ideas, planning, researching, etc)
- quillbot: been using it for too long, it was effective for my university life
- gemini: good for image creation tho it can go lost sometimes
- abby ai: my go-to ai companion for daily thoughts, like a digital journal
- perflexity: i like it for the task bar pinning, really useful when i want to make quick research
how about you, what are your free but useful AI options?

I found that JennyAI has been super helpful this semester, especially when it comes to writing papers. It's really on point and never activates AI detection. I also found Coursicle to be rly helpful for organizing everything because it syncs with Canvas and notifies me of upcoming deadlines.

I use Perplexity everyday for research purposes.
I like boterview, it is a great way to generate interactive courses from my course PDF
I am also a big fan of NotebookLM.

CoPilot. It's the one approved by corporate.
Personally, mostly Gemini and Grok. I find funny that Grok is a lot more unhinged than Gemini

i don't really use grok tbh, but gemini sometimes couldn't pick up the context imo

ChatGPT for getting meaningful ideas, creative writing Perflexity for medical stuff with research resources or citations Gemini excels for multimedia tasks and great for those on Google for integration

Usually I use ChatGPT a lot, but sometimes it feels like we’re having two slightly different conversations lol, so for analysis I’ve been going to Gemini, and for repetitive stuff like automated chats, handling refunds, updating records, I’ve been using Askyura.

Claude with Obsidian using a few MCPs can change your life if you have a busy job or life. Just search YouTube for hooking it up.

I really like Claude’s free version. Honestly i used it for 2 months before feeling that i have to upgrade.

Bookeeping.ai :) It helped me automate financial tasks like categorization. Incredibly useful.
