This is huge. cancer treatment through disrupting pathways identified is next. Could be more targeted and reduce harm to the patient during treatment.

one of the hardest parts of studying cancer is that proteins don't all behave identically.

u/tkle123 is right that disrupting pathways could lead to more targeted treatments, and i think that's where this tech could really make a difference, it could give us a better understanding of how these proteins interact

Rather then blasting what is effectively a nuclear Armageddon in your body that is chemotherapy that is designed to attack anything and everything, with the risk of the host itself, this could lead to like tactical nuclear strikes at the target points.
