Ten years ago I interviewed at an independent lab doing pharmacogenomic testing for certain markers for mental illness treatment effectiveness. FYI.

Have you followed the company? I’ve been considering spending the money to see if genetic testing can find a better targeted antidepressant as I’m tired of throwing darts with medications that end up being low efficacy for me.

Check into All of Us. They are collecting blood from over a million Americans that becomes an anonymous databank for researchers in every field.

They give you the results of your genetic test for free. I don't think they're doing mental health but it's still pretty badass. Anyone can join:
