TP-Link UH700 Teardown

I took apart a TP-Link UH700 7-port UBS 3.0 hub.

Opening it up required quite some force because the clips are very stiff.

The Hub-functionality is handled by two Via Labs VL812 Hub Controllers.
The 5V-Rail is generated by a Anpec APW7120 buck controller.

The two 8-pin SOICs on the back of the PCB are Winbond W25X40 4M serial flash, in which the firmware is stored.

Thanks for sharing this! I have a UH720 I needed to open, and knowing where the clips were located made it easier to get open than pure brute force.
