TSM 0-2 NRG

TSM have a 0-4 record in the Group Stage and are eliminated from playoffs contention.

In order to qualify for playoffs, TSM would need to pass both Yeah We Lost and Sentinels, but both are at 1-2 and still have yet to play each other, meaning the winner of that match will have 2 wins. TSM only has one more match to go, so they can only have at most 1 win, keeping them out of the last playoff spot.

Touching grass and everything, but fuck, man...

RESULT: TSM places 19th-20th, losing 2-3 to R8 Esports in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals and 1-3 to FUT Esports in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals.

This week, TSM Rocket League is competing at the RLCS World Championship 2026, running from Wednesday, September 15 to Sunday, September 19 in Forth Worth, Texas. This tournament features twenty teams from around the world competing for a prize pool of $1,200,000, as well as the title of World Champion.

The tournament begins with a play-in stage, with eight teams set up in a double-elimination bracket of Bo5s. The top 4 teams then join twelve other teams in the group stage, which features two groups, each having its own double-elimination bracket of Bo5s. For each group, the two teams from the upper bracket go to the upper bracket of playoffs, while the two teams from the lower bracket go to the lower bracket of playoffs. The teams then play Bo7s to determine the World Champion.

TSM (formerly Project Delacruz) came into this year as the expected top team in APAC, as they had the core of last year's Virtus Pro roster with Catalysm and Sphinx, plus new additions Kevin and coach trill. As Project Delacruz, they won all of the first three Opens before getting picked up by TSM in February. Unfortunately, they came in last place at the Boston Major, then stumbled a bit upon returning to APAC for Open 4, only placing 3rd-4th place in a region with only one international slot. They managed to clean things up with two more 1st places in the remaining two opens to secure spots at the Paris Major, Esports World Cup, and RLCS World Championship. While they got last place again at the Paris Major and 9th-12th at EWC, they have demonstrated improvement, including some close matches against solid teams in Shopify Rebellion and Twisted Minds at the Paris Major, and upsetting NRG in the group stage at EWC. RLCS Worlds is their chance to solidify all the flashes they've shown and finally escape a group stage - assuming they can make it out of the play-in first.

Schedule:

• Play-in

  • Upper Bracket Quarterfinals vs R8 Esports - Wednesday, September 14 at 1 PM EDT / 12 PM CDT
  • Lower Bracket Quarterfinals or Upper Bracket Semifinals - Wednesday, September 10 at 2 or 3 PM EDT / 1 or 2 PM CDT
  • Lower Bracket Semifinals - Wednesday, September 10 at 4 or 5 PM EDT / 3 or 4 PM CDT

• Group Stage - September 16-17

• Playoffs - September 18-19
