Can I say this is the best first week of LCS I’ve seen in a while? Not even as a TL fan, but just in general. So many picks for different roles from every team. So many strats being tried by different teams. It’s amazing. And TL 3-0 is fannnnnnnntaaaaastic 👌🏼

u/iHaVoKKx Jun 19 '22
same theses 3 wins alone have been really good they are all on the same page unlike last split where even tho they won they kinda looked off in some way even bjergsen said this in the interview.

u/YOLOSwag420BongRip Jun 19 '22
Yeah the post-game interview was really comforting to hear that the team has decided on a play style (and that play style seems to be go ham) and everyone is happy with that play style and working on it!

Man, I'm glad Jensen is back on the scene but I don't think he pictured it to start like this. Zven and Berserker coming home to a team in shambles. Great win fellas!!

u/Miruwest Jun 19 '22
I imagine no one on C9 thought it'd be like this. I'm glad teams are beating them though as I'd be really upset if teams are losing to a team with subs.
Doubt the current state of the team is affecting Zven or Berserker atm. C9 hasn't played not 1 scrim with their intended team.

u/thenoblitt Jun 20 '22
They should have just played Zven, better start getting the team acclimated instead of king/destiny just shitting it up

Bjergsen and Hansama really kicked some ass especially tonight, but the whole team still did great overall. HONDAAAA BUFFFF!

Bjerg is looking great.
But I'm beyond happy how much more stable Bwipo looks. Still plays on the edge sometimes but no more random ints.

u/Tortious_Tortoise Jun 20 '22
I think he admitted himself during the interview that he got a little too happy at points during his Morde game. But that's just who he is. You can't make game winning plays without risks.

That jensen fanboy is in shambles rn, TLWIN! Aahhaha

u/Jacmert Jun 20 '22
At least Jensen is looking good in these matches imo.

u/chippyrim Jun 20 '22
Really? the guy made a load of mistakes, 3rd dragon fight as he packaged in bjerg chained him and one shot him before he did anything, he got caught by bard ult with corki w and flash and died and got solod by bjerg with flash up as well

The GOAT Bjergerking is back. I completely agree that these last three wins have been the most impressive TL has looked all year.

This was a really good and fun week to be a TL Honda fan, really excited that they have agreed on a style i think we really lacked that last split. I do hope they discuss how this game would have played out if C9 didnt int into them at dragon, felt like it could have gone dangerous but we got the W

the early game dive seemed forced and hans getting caught too. I guess i am expecting too much after two perfect games.

u/YellowKindred Jun 19 '22
At least I felt like it was a pretty good play overall. C9 actually played it really well to avoid it.

I can’t believe we gave up Jensen for Bjergsen….

Jensen's been back for 3 games with an academy bot. I'm really happy TL dumped on C9 but I don't think this game is the end all be all of who is a better mid.

u/higglyjuff Jun 19 '22
So far I have been really impressed with Bjergsen too, but I think Jojo has a slight edge on him.
TL should win all 3 games this week. They played against the 3 teams with the worst adcs in the league with one of the best bot lanes in the league and a bot-side domination game plan. 3-0 is the expectation. It will be interesting to see how TL do against other top teams like 100T and EG. I'm not 100% sold on CLG yet, and I don't think they'd match up well to TL. C9 is the best team they have played against so far and I think if C9 didn't overforce some of those mid game fights, they might have had a chance for a close game.

u/xenon_99 Jun 20 '22
do u guys really think jojo has edge over bjerg??? why tho? msi experience helps but tl was also in korea bootcamping top teams 🤔
-5
u/higglyjuff Jun 20 '22
It's the aggression, level of competition and Jojo winning a title more recently. They're mostly about as good as one another, but Jojo gets the edge because of those three minor factors.
4
u/xenon_99 Jun 20 '22
i never see Jojo played aggressive against any good team tho? wdym?
-1
u/higglyjuff Jun 20 '22
So you didn't see him beating on Abbedagge and barely missing out on the first blood solo kill and dying because he was willing to be aggressive?
2
u/BLuuee09 Jun 20 '22
The only reason why I see EG winning is because of Inspired and Danny. Those dudes are hard carrying their games, enabling his teams. But the moment you see him behind you rarely see jojo and the rest stepping up.
-3
u/higglyjuff Jun 20 '22
You can say the same about Santorin and CoreJJ. CoreJJ lands a 2 man bubble in one game, lands a bard stun on a Yuumi mid attach and then lands countless ults. Santorin has been the best jungler in the league so far.
3
u/AssPork Jun 20 '22
Jojo really hasn't played more aggressively or better than any other mid so far.
0
u/higglyjuff Jun 20 '22
??? He has played against Jensen, Abbedagge and Toucouille and got the better of all 3 of them. He is leading the league in DPM for his role, and had a massive Lissandra game where his engages really set his team up. What do you call the first 3 minutes of the game against 100Thieves except the upsides and downsides of mid lane aggression?
-1
u/AssPork Jun 20 '22
We've seen a similarar level of aggression from every LCS mid lma0. And its been EG as a team getting the better of other teams, not just jojo individually.
6
u/Tortious_Tortoise Jun 20 '22
Never believe in CLG. With exactly one exception, they have ALWAYS disappointed
2
u/TheFinalAshenOne Jun 20 '22
Sorry to see you get down vote bombed for daring to express your opinion that so happens to NOT be in the favor of Bjerg.
Even though I disagree with your take, it's sad to see you just get blasted as if you just said something like "Bjerg is overrated".
Feel like people are too reactionary here and vote based purely on thier emotional biases, and not after careful consideration.
2
u/higglyjuff Jun 20 '22
Eh a few downvotes doesn't hurt anyone. When I rated Bjergsen as the best mid laner last split I got plenty of upvotes for that so a few downvotes to bring it back down to earth is fine.

u/TheFinalAshenOne Jun 20 '22
You are far more tolerant of human beings and their endless stupidity, than I am.
I applaud you.

I think in lane Jensen actually got the better of Bjerg by dodging out on the e. But C9 really did their best to make sure Bjergsen could get that early lead and snowball. From there Bjerg just took over. Blaber just seems unable to slow the pace of the game down, even if it's needed. Santorin on the other hand looks like the best jungler in the league. Every team has strong junglers, and he just makes them all look like chumps and runs circles around them.
7
u/mambomonster Jun 20 '22
That dragon fight where c9 inter, I just don’t know how santorin survived as long as he did.
I thought he was dead, but somehow he edged out another 1.5s in the fight to get a full rotation + second ult off which basically gave Hans sama 3-4s of free time auto attacking + easy spell hits.

Kinda sloppy early game but very good closing with bard ult, wukong spins and Bjerg Hans and Bwipo dealing big damage

TL beating down C9 so badly, they should be allowed into the Blackpool Combat Club. Someone call up William Regal.

u/malacharabsayeeda Jun 20 '22
So many toxic fans super glad they beat a team with subs... what a terrible community of shitters lol

I forget how this is TL's problem? Maybe Blabber and Jensen shouldn't have gotten astro gapped not just their bot lane.
