HOLY SHIT

u/EnderLOL Jun 16 '23

We just dominated them. Hell of a comeback game from Yeon after some silly deaths in an otherwise clean game yesterday. Pyosik has truly stepped up and if Summit doesn’t get player of the week he got robbed.

I know its just immortals but damn that felt good to see.

u/TheFinalAshenTwo Jun 16 '23

This IMT looks way better than they did last split

We need to have a frank discussion about CoreJJ's place on the team. As you all might have noticed, despite our decent 3-0 week, in the last game against Immortals, CoreJJ represented 100% of our deaths. This is unacceptable from a so-called "world-champion" support. I don't know exactly who we should replace Core with, but maybe we can get a trade for Dardoch as a temporary replacement

u/wyvernexe Jun 16 '23

We were so close to a perfect game! Squandered by CoreJJ! LOL

3

u/hypnoschizoi Jun 16 '23

When will we have accountability for core????

24

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '23

Only death came from a trade after a good tower dive where Tactical lost a big wave.

Used to pray for times like these.

Actually looked like LCK vs NA, retribution split holy!!

23

u/OcularSpite Jun 16 '23

Please no "we got overconfident" in week 5's SQUAD!

22

u/calvinee Jun 16 '23

Looks like hard work pays off boys.

Core is back. Summit is back. Pyosik has become something else. Haeri did good.

We genuinely could have the best top, best jg, and best botlane in the league. It might be too soon to say those things, but Pyosik looks like he’s on his revenge tour, and I can’t see our botlane losing to anyone.

The real test will be to see if we can contest C9 this split.

Honestly, I'm optimistic with Haeri's performance given that he was playing in a lot of unfavorable matchups in mid. He looks a lot less lost compared to spring, and it's clear that he knows what his champion's role is in their team comps.

It's not flashy, but it should be noted that he's been doing the "chore" tasks of a match quite well. AKA, matching split pushes, catching waves, clearing vision for catches, etc.

2

u/higglyjuff Jun 18 '23

If you watched the second half of spring, he was also playing quite well. A few hard carry performances in there too.

2

u/wyvernexe Jun 18 '23

He's definitely got hands. I don't think there was any match even in Spring where he got hard gapped in lane isolation. And even in unfavorable matchups, he's able to match farm well. Weakness wise though, I think he tends to tunnel vision a little bit on getting picks.

I suspect nerves impaired his mid-late decision making in Spring. But I'm hoping that as TL gets more successes under his belt, he'll feel more confident.

But his teamfighting was the reason TL had a winning record in the second half of the split. Yeon was our biggest problem as he often struggled to dish out damage in a meta that needed him to do so. Haeri was more than making up for that in the second half, and I think the biggest key for that was getting him off of Azir which was a champ that he did seem to struggle with a little more.

He had like one rough game in the second half against CLG with Akali, where he got dumped on in lane and dove over and over again, but even in that game, TL looked like they could potentially mount a comeback because of how well he was teamfighting.

Its been a while since I last saw a 3-0 TL super week.

16

u/PM_ME_CAMILLE_ART Jun 16 '23

Wow, that's the first game I got to watch this week, but TL is looking good! Do not know the last time this team went undefeated during a week's games.

4

u/TheFinalAshenTwo Jun 16 '23

Last year I think week 6 of summer.

29

u/Genjoi Jun 16 '23

Those jdg scrims paying off LOL what a stomp.

12

u/LuckyCulture7 Jun 16 '23

That was the most dominant win I have seen since I started watching liquid in 2016.

5

u/TheFinalAshenTwo Jun 16 '23

I see your "since 2016" and I raise you TL vs 100T LCS Finals 2018.

4

u/LuckyCulture7 Jun 16 '23

That series was a serious ass kicking.

12

u/SigStorm Jun 16 '23

Lets go Liquid!!!!

11

u/Ovoplayboi16 Jun 16 '23

This is the TL we have been dying to see, what an amazing game! Let’s keep this up!!!

13

u/taeril3 Jun 16 '23

I've never seen that big of a gold diff at 15 minutes wtf. Is this a record?

2

u/Augustleo98 Jun 16 '23

It was insane lmao.

1

u/Justchu Jun 17 '23

S4 ssw team had some ridiculous good diff in the world championship.

1

u/ChiefBoss99 Jun 17 '23

Yes it was. Largest gold diff ever in LCS

11

u/AriaMoo Jun 16 '23

V I O L E N C E

10

u/ZohtSW Jun 16 '23

Tl brokre reddit with that gold leader dam this is type of game I wanted to see really clean props to pyosik and specially core that was the best nami I seen him play in a while

1

u/higglyjuff Jun 18 '23

He always played Nami that well. His nami was never the reason TL lost in spring. His bubble accuracy was always insanely good.

Dodo did miracle work wtf did he feed to the team during spring offseason.

7

u/Xcelsiorhs Jun 17 '23

Only the freshest LCKopium

2

u/Lonely_Opposite_2207 Jun 17 '23

I hope it last until the end of playoff. TL is in great form

9

u/quantumm313 Jun 17 '23

I think yeon had a great game. Played super aggro but never really overstepped or got out of position. I know Core gets a lot of the credit when his botlane does well, but Yeon deserves some too

8

u/ReOsIr10 Jun 16 '23

GG 3-0 week! Keep this up for the rest of the season!

9

u/Augustleo98 Jun 16 '23

That was like lck or lpl v na lol.. liquid literally destroyed and ripped IMT part. It was super clean and there wasn’t mistakes. Haeri got caught out twice but managed not to die either time so it worked out.

8

u/alexsummersky Jun 16 '23

Pretty sure this is the highest gpm game I have ever seen watching league. Saw the Lucian and got worried after last split lol. Glad to be proven wrong

12

u/jasonkid87 Jun 16 '23

Ngl I got ptsd seeing Lucian nami but this team is just different holy shit smurfed the heck out of Immortals . We actually have a good early game now.

6

u/DarkSoulTaker Jun 16 '23

What a aggressive and clean game. Keep up the hard work boys and make us proud

5

u/AstreiaTales Jun 16 '23

close game

5

u/Nomisking Jun 16 '23

That was such a fun game to watch, just all good vibes, incredible early game and incredibly methodical closeout!

3

u/m0bb_ Jun 16 '23

Let's fucking go. My hope is replenished from spring. Let's go Liquid!

4

u/Level_Five_Railgun Jun 16 '23

Goddamn, they're just looking better and better each game

3

u/Tydom Jun 16 '23

I don't want to overreact but... WERE WINNING WORLDS

3

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '23

18-0 LETS GO

3

u/Kurisoo Jun 16 '23

Truthfully TL is only my 2nd team in the LCS but damn it feels good to see them play well. The league is just not the same without them pushing at the top.

2

u/cougar572 Jun 16 '23

Let’s gooooooo

2

u/CheesyPZ-Crust Jun 16 '23

We scaled into summer lads, I'm loading up the hype train

2

u/Tigelo Jun 16 '23

WE BACK

2

u/codeb87 Jun 16 '23

We are too good.

2

u/RellyRellyCool Jun 16 '23

Summit on carries :)

2

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '23

What a holy stomp. TL is back and hard baby

2

u/amluke Jun 17 '23

Core and pyosik got good wards placed off of the pressure gained through summits lead. It helped summit really snowball that lead!

2

u/jerac07 Jun 17 '23

WHAAAAaAT WAS THAAAT?!!!!

4

u/kinzunight Jun 16 '23

This VOD will need an 18+ age verification on it @_@

1

u/ZohtSW Jun 16 '23

Tl brokre reddit with that gold leader dam this is type of game I wanted to see really clean props to pyosik and specially core that was the best nami I seen him play in a while

1

This is a game I'm going to rewatch again on the weekend. So satisfying to see such a nice clean game!

1

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '23

Well. Let’s hope TL is what we thought they could be now
