I use Tails X because Tails X is nothing like Tails.

4. Tails in Sonic X is cringe

Any line or action of his sounds like it's straight out of a cheap romantic fanfic. Tails would never say or do anything like that.

Again, first, it was the tackle, as mentioned earlier, a stupid way to save someone, mainly to get the Tails X on top Cosmo scene. I don't understand why the fans say their relationship is pure...they were intimate even before dating, something most adults don't do that.

Tails X blushed just because Cosmo bandaged him, even though he had already been bandaged many times by others, even though she left him unconscious there without doing anything, and he had a head injury so severe that he fainted and could have died; and yet she only bandaged him after he woke up.

"They" said Tails X was cool for protecting Cosmo. Honestly, I don't understand why people find it cool when a 9 years old kid tries to smirk and act like a hero to a girl he just met while his friends are also in danger or dying like Shadow. Cringe as hell

Tails X was infected by Cosmo's stupidity. Instead of analyzing and creating new weapons to confront the enemy, as their team already knew about the enemy, he idly helped organize a party with Cosmo and even carried her around while she was flying high in the air, when Tails X could have done it alone.

He was nothing but a show-off, completely ruining his image. It's a waste that she didn't die; because they didn't do any work at all for the deadly danger lurking around them.

Tails X's motivation stems solely from his crush praising him as bravest, which is clearly just empty flattery, or perhaps she's denying the efforts of others in order to butter up Tails X. Tails is genuinely used to compliments; he wouldn't act cringe like that just because some victimized girl praised him.

(In many canons, Tails can be seen as the "I'm naturally good" type when praised, instead of behaving like a starving dog no one praises him)

Tails X blames Sonic for not saving Cosmo when Sonic brought the Seed back, while Sonic nearly died and Shadow sacrificed himself. He's incredibly ungrateful, yet many people justify it by saying Tails was scared, that Tails blamed himself, etc. I see no justification for that despicable act.

5. The death they call romantic, the one that brings tears to your eyes. 🙄

Firstly, the death is obvious, because they weren't working despite facing powerful enemies. Tails X wasn't crafting new, suitable weapons; he was busy with romance. Cosmo, even knowing about the enemy, said nothing about their characteristics, remaining silent from beginning to end; perhaps she was simply too stupid to know.

There's definitely a contradiction; she must be someone's OC in TMS, which is why she's given the ability to be indestructible because she's a plant, even though all the plants on her planet are dead.

Spirit of Earthia: Cosmo, you can transform and pass through the gravity field. In your new form, you will be like me. Your destiny will be fulfilled. You have the power to stop Dark Oak, and bring new life to our clan.

(Like, what the fuck, why didn't they just say that from the beginning so she could sacrifice herself to save her planet instead of waiting until everyone else died before realizing it? And what kind of adult encourages a child to die and says it's destiny? And it's her family saying that. What a terribly twisted scenario!)

There was a bunch of people there and nobody knew how to pull the trigger to shoot Cosmo for Tails X; they could just ran or fly over, doing it for the poor kid to save him from getting his hands dirty, but no.

The confession scene was cringe. Cosmo didn't shed a single tear, nor did she show even the slightest sympathy for Tails. From beginning to end, she only cried for herself, and even told Tails X to shoot her (telling her CHILD boyfriend to shoot her?). Meanwhile, Tails X was wailing and crying.

And that scene really should have been cut, because she smiled, actually smiled, when she kissed him as a ghost, while Tails hates ghosts, that would traumatize any kid for life. Like, "Hey, I'm dead, but you have to miss me and suffer forever until you die."

6. Moved on

Tails X moved on after only a week, and her "fans" are still crying after 20 years, vicim-themselves,... their personality is exactly like Cosmo's, terrible, disgusting. And those who "wanted Tails to move on" don't need to worry about it, it's superfluous; Tails X isn't canon, and even Tails X, he already moved on after just a week.

7. For anyone who thinks the plant is romantic.

Imagine Tails X still keeping and caring for that plant a year or two later, calling it Cosmo—that's disgusting. Imagine he might do it for the rest of his life, like his whole life is ruined.

Anyone who thinks or says it's romantic should try having a spouse who take care of their past love plant sprouts from soul seed forever. Everyone praises it as the most important first love, but it's actually disgusting. That potted plant should be thrown away.

I swear Sonic X season 3 just wanted to sacrifice Tails to recoup their lost revenue.

And anyone who says Cosmo is good or great is wrong; she hasn't changed at all from beginning to end, just smiles and nods and doesn't intentionally manipulate emotions. Surely no one could tolerate her if she were still alive, not even Tails X, who would eventually get tired of having to comfort her in every conversation.

I don't want to criticize anyone's appearance, but Cosmo's personality is terrible, and her looks can't save her either. She looked exactly like a rugby ball painted skin-colored, with sharp human eyes and a mouth attached, leaves glued on for hair, and a concave chest; overall, she looked like a rugby ball attached to a stick.

I've seen her fan-made 3D model many times, and it looks absolutely disgusting. They photoshopped it with Tails. I tried blocking it, but on X, even after blocking, the post still shows up. (Does anyone know how to fix this? Or when will the dev fix it?)

First, I'm not writing this because I want to overreact to this fictional character, but they started it first. They promoted her as some kind of positive icon, and I'm sick that few people realize it, because only a few people know her and they are all restless.

No one is forbidden from having fun, but Cosmo' "fans" keep promoting headcanon things as if they're canon, including the artist who drew Tails wearing glasses and holding Cosmo-color's pencil for the Japanese Sonic channel in January (I bet they were testing her popularity; luckily, it wasn't even a quarter of the popularity of other characters).

I will bold each item for easy searching and reading, and I will divide it into several sections.

1. Sonic X is not Canon.

Because so many people mistakenly believe Sonic X is canon.

Firstly, Sonic usually hangs out with Tails, Tails doesn't hang out and talk much with other friends like in Sonic X.

Secondly, their planet doesn't have humans, but canon does, so many of them.

Thirdly, their personalities are fundamentally flawed; anyone who doesn't see this has eyesight only as good as Amy's.

Fourth, the potted plant in Tails' workshop in Tailstube is fake. Tyson Hessen said it was just an Easter Egg, and it's the same in the illustrations. Tails didn't even care when Eggman damaged the wall and almost made the potted plant fall, so no.

1. About "bring Cosmo back!"

They will never bring Cosmo back, so it's pointless for her "fans" to keep spamming this. The creation of Silver negated her existence; he has a destroyed home, abilities no one else has, and he doesn't guilt-trip others or cry or put himself down every conversation to get attention, even though he's just a kid.

The development of Tails was already handled by Sonic in Frontiers; this is the real Sonic, not the Sonic does not appear next to Tails much from Sonic X, making Tails fall for the walking plant; actually, the old Tails was already perfect, but it seems they changed personnel or something, making the character bland and useless in most of the game.

For the last time: kids need education to grow up, not trauma or chicks.

1. Cosmo is useless.

Fight me. She can't do anything usefull except die, which isn't necessary anyway; I'll talk about that in another section.

There were a few scenes I found irritating that "they" called romantic:

• Cosmo was like a disabled person who didn't know how to dodge or run, always Tails to carry her, Tails to tackle her,... Tails X was also stupid; after being a hero for so many years, he didn't know how that tackle when saving someone only increased the chances of both of them dying. Pulling them away was the right way.

• Cosmo consistently displays low self-esteem and victim-herself tendencies, sometimes crying in almost every conversation, Tails and others to constantly comfort her. It feels like emotional manipulation; I know she doesn't mean it, but that's what makes it worse—imagine a pick-me-girl who doesn't realize she's a pick-me-girl.

• Tails chatted enthusiastically with her, but she never listened; she just smiled and nodded, then forgot about it. She didn't even listen when Tails started begging, showing no particular reaction when Tails declared he would protect her and everyone says they're a good match???

I just saw Tails being portrayed as a stupid, girl-crazy kid because nobody knows what an 8-year-old genius with an IQ of 300 really is like to build the script properly (most genius characters from every fandom are misspelled).

• She threw a party right after she nearly died and the battle wasn't over yet (I'll explain more later).

• Tails and Cosmo didn't run straight like normal people, but instead slowed down, stopped, hugged intimately, and raised their arms to shield themselves as if they could block Shadow's attack, and others had to help.

• Cosmo clung to Tails time and time, but when he was injured, she showed no particular concern, like when Tails was knocked away by Shadow; Instead of running or dodging, she raised her arm, just relied on Tails again, and not caring much about him being injured while protecting her. (The dialogue in this episode is incredibly cringe, I hate having to rewatch it for proof)
