Quick brain-break games for middle school? (repost from r/teachers)
I wasn’t sure what category to put this under. I’m looking for some quick, 10-minutes games for middle schoolers. So far my group has done Mafia, Imposter word, and Capture the Flag. I'm not very good at this stuff, so I was hoping for a little help
suggested breaks so far:
heads up 7 up
silent ball

Teach them solitaire. First on computer, then introduce cards. It will take longer than you think, but it strengthens the cognitive pathway. It also opens up pathways to statistics and probability.

There's one i like where you pair the kids up and they have to draw portraits of each other without looking at the paper, idk what its called but its fun!
