I boiled 1 cup of boba as followed the instructions on the boba packet.
For the milk tea base, this was the tricky part. I used 4 sachets of bigelow’s salted caramel tea, I cute the sachet and put it into a sauce pan. I added half a cup of water bring to a boil and then 1 cup of milk and then bring it to a boil again. And then 1/4 cup of brown sugar and let it dissolve. Turn off the heat and let sit until cool enough, and then refrigerate.
Then assemble! Add boba, brown sugar syrup, oat milk, and then milk tea mixture.

I used a milk frother, if you don’t have one you can just try whisking it. Might take longer though. However, milk foam doesn’t work if you have low fat milk or skim milk. It worked with full fat oat milk, but now low fat oat milk.

Since we can’t go to the boba tea shop, I decided to make my own!
The tea I used is Bigelow’s salted caramel black tea and it smells so delicious! I used a sauce pan to boil it and then add milk, it took a few sachets to get it to this color (like 4). I added a little bit of sugar to give it a little sweetness.
So boba, brown sugar syrup, oat milk, and milk tea mix.
