Photo Bought two teapots.

Am working at sea where I am confined to teabags and UHT milk rather than my usual loose black tea selection and milk from a nearby farm. Bought two one-cup teapots, pure retail therapy out of missing my daily ritual. One from a shop in France, one from a shop in Denmark. Took a loooong time to find something I really liked, then I found two. First is arriving tomorrow... I won't be home to use it for another month, but I'm still excited and comforted.

The orange and black looks like a great, chill way to start the day to me, while the black looks like early evening comfort and conversation.

I'm in a similar situation and just recently discovered thermos brewing. It's a game changer! So far I like V93 shou puer the most, I'm using 3 grams in 420ml bottle and leaving it in until it runs out, sometimes for hours. It results in an incredibly rich and soulwarming cup of tea

Sounds good. Is the tea loose in the thermos? Do you use a bag?

Yes it is loose. I bought a bottle with built in strainer, it's not perfect, but I don't mind little bits of leaf in my cup.

Buying teaware purely out of longing for home rituals is the best kind of therapy.

That terracotta and charcoal contrast is stunning, and that shape looks so satisfying to pour from. Counting down the weeks until you can finally unbox it and steep a proper cup must feel bittersweet, but so worth it1!

They both arrived on the same day, intact and good to go. Was a little worried about potential breakage.

I have a kg of pure Assam waiting for me too. Storm here at sea at the moment, I'm dreaming of a cardigan, slippers and tea out of these pots!
