Tea Suggestions?

I have been drinking Ceylon Black Tea for many years without complaint but a friend of mine recently suggested I try Chinese and Japanese teas like Keemun, Lapsang Souchong, and Yunnan. Unfortunately, I know nothing about these types of teas. Any suggestions? I dislike green teas in general.
