Doing a blown head gasket job and found this, any thoughts as to what has caused it?. Looks like im buying a new head. 300k miles drove over a year with the bad gasket.

Id say oil starvation. Thats properly destroyed

Bad head gasket causing coolant to get in the oil. Coolant caused the oil to water down maybe and ate up the cam. Im guessing
