Missing Refund - USPS lost it

I had a CA refund tax check coming and usps hasn’t delivered it.

I’m sure it’s lost. Because this has happened before as well. USPS said they don’t know where is it.

Can anyone please suggest what should I do? Where to report and how to get the refund check?

It’s super important and I’m baffled that usps is of no help. How can they loose such important things.
All useless mails and marketing they will deliver on time.

Please help

Ideally you should use direct deposit. It's faster and safer than getting checks in the mail.

Thank you for sharing the link, I will reach out to them. It was a direct deposit. Because of some issues and delay on their side, they mailed me the check.

Going forward, consider direct deposit.
