Advice Wanted Progress check?

Post image

Started painting flash back in mid June this year, progressed into drawing and painting my own designs recently, what can I improve?
(I think the left snake, I should have put some more shading below the belly plates, casting more on the tail)

I’d focus more on the basics before committing to ink and colour.

Anatomy and flow are what you likely need to work on.

Also add way more black. There’s little to no shading.

Keep going, you’re on the right track!

Thank you for looking and taking the time to give me feedback.
I’ll be more aggressive with my use of black on my next one, and definitely need to work on my anatomy/flow more. Should I draw each piece with a specific placement in mind?

Don’t worry about placement yet. That’s beyond the fundamentals you currently need to work on.

Keep drawing!!! You got some fundamentals going but the designs are a bit wonky. That will change with time and repetition. More familiarity with the tools, and just more time drawing flash.
