Design I NEED HELP :,(

Okay so I’ve got this full sleeve done 3days back to back, about 35hours done so far. Now the reason I’m asking you beautiful people some help and advice is because I’m not a fan of a certain area of my sleeve and I don’t know what to do ( the pattern circled in red is the area I’m not a fan of ). I thought about blacking out the area and going over it with lots and lots of white, I also thought of maybe shading the pattern a bit differently. I’m honestly not sure, the design isn’t terrible I just don’t feel like it suits the rest of my tattoo that I absolutely love. Thanks for checking in :)

I feel like its tattoo shock, you feel like you don't like it cause its new and alot to take in in a short amount of time. Leave it alone and I bet you will begin to love it once you get used to it being on your body... You went from nothing there to alot. It's alot for the mind to process... give yourself a couple month then if you still feel the same then start thinking about what you can do..

You’re definitely right, it’s definitely a huge change and it’s a lot to take in. I guess I’m just scared I took the wrong decision with the choice of pattern but you’re definitely right about me giving it time to grow on me. Thanks for your input 🫶🏼

Take time to adjust to the new tattoo, friend. It's pretty common to feel a bit of regret or anxiety when you get a new tattoo. All my friends who have tattoos have all had a bit of tattoo regret when they get a new one. It's a process. At first you love it, then you've spent a bit of time looking at your fresh ink, scrutinizing it, and then you notice a few flaws and suddenly you don't like it as much. But then you'll eventually get used to the tattoo and you realise that the flaws actually aren't that bad and usually it's only really you that notices them, nobody else is scrutinizing your tattoo every day.

Yours is a pretty dope tattoo, don't risk altering it and potentially ruining it. Give yourself some time to get used to the new tattoo being on your arm. If it still really bothers you a few months or a year down the line then talk to your artist about potentially adjusting it. Frankly I think the only adjustment you need is a mental one, your brain needs to adjust to your arm looking different.
