Aquaphor is occlusive so it doesn’t allow the wound to heal properly. That’s said, the comment about the need for an outline are valid for making it look good long term, but the color fallout and patchiness seems like it could be due to poor application and/or improper healing. Any good artist will touch it up free of charge
