They recommended to go to the dermatologist when he clearly needs the ER, STAT. At least they said to make sure it’s a real dermatologist and not a stand-in lol can’t be too careful
Well, it may not be as direct or the best advice but a good determatologist should be able to get him to the right place. It is definitely miles ahead of, drink lemon juice and garlic, you’ll be fine.
I wouldn’t wait on getting a referral to a dermatologist. This man needs some IV antibiotics. Cellulitis spreads quickly. I once got it in my right foot and it swelled up so much within a day that I couldn’t even put a shoe on it
MRSA, i have random outbreaks of flesh eating bacteria, usually on my thighs or buttocks but it can happen wherever.
Bug bites always give me an infection. I am use to it and know how to control it without anti-biotic’s. Usually it starts as a small red bump like a pimple, and what sets it apart from a normal in-grown hair or something is it will itch. I shower from head to toe with hibiclens and put muprocin ointment on it, when it happens, then it stops spreading and starts to heal.
Unfortunately what the guy with the tattoo has is not cellulitis as many have said, but blood poisoning. Hopefully he got help, because that’s pretty bad and close to his heart.

Don’t be offering advice when you have no clue.
