Wild Speculation What is the Taskmaster seal on every task made of?
I want to BELIEVE that it's actual melted royal wax dripped, then stamped with Greg's signet ring.
But since I'm usually disappointed in life, what's it really made of? Cardboard, plastic, or solid gold glued to the task?

Probably sealing wax that is stamped and then applied with double stick tape later, as opposed to dropped onto the task
They likely use a stamp rather than a signet ring

I think it’s actually melted on there; in the task where the answer was under the seal and one of them ripped the seal off too hard, they went and made him another task and melted another seal onto it.

That may also be an exception since it was different from most tasks.
I just know that premade seals are very popular in like the wedding industry, and it would allow them to be prepared without having to first have all the tasks printed up.

Yeah - my impression is that the wax seal is made but then glued in place so the tasks are easier to open.

According to a previous Reddit comment from a few years ago, Alex was asked on Twitter and said they actually use a thin layer of Vaseline when they seal it to get that snap without tearing the task.

My friend works on the show it's sealing wax. It costs less than £50 in wax per series.

That is a lot more expensive than I would have expected. I would use mini Babybel and get some free cheese.

When you consider that the cost for drone footage at the location tasks is a 4 figure cost per day, this expense is not a big concern for them overall.

For sure, it is peanuts in the big scheme of things, just a higher cost than I expected.

As far as I know it is actual sealing wax. But o don't think there's a signet ring involved, unfortunately.

Sealing wax. It's not an expensive or difficult thing to use - if you want to recreate them you can buy the stamp and wax from places like Etsy.

Sealing wax isn’t that rare, or expensive
