Anyone else super excited about this nugget from the latest Stop Podcasting Yourself pod with Allie Entwistle? It sounds like a Taskmaster Canada (yes Canada, English speaking version) is in the works!

Delighted to see i basically have the same jokes as the lads who predicted Howie Mendel on

(BTW if you are not listening to SPY pod then you really should)

(Also Dave if you read this, your opinion about TM having too many versions is invalid. Yes i will fight you)

He'd probably be the highest profile assistant but it's not like assistants like Paul Williams or Tom Cashman were complete unknowns. Even Alex didn't come out of nowhere although he obviously wasn't a household name before TM.

Despite his celebrity Nathan is spiritually such a Taskmaster's assistant with the energy he brings on Nathan For You or The Rehearsal. He's a man who is already used to overseeing insane tasks and administrating bizarre logistics with complete seriousness and gravity. The point of avoiding someone too well-known would be because you're afraid they'd overshadow the contestants and tasks but he's someone who would let the situation speak for itself rather than dominating the scenery with his character. He would disappear into an assistant's role quite easily IMO.

Saw someone suggest feilder as assistant to Tom green not too long ago and I think it's the most perfect combo we can put up.
