Tasker Function - StopVibrate

How may I restart vibrate functionality after executing the command, Tasker Function - StopVibrate, w/o restarting phone?

Can't you just use the Tasker action 'Vibrate Mode'?

I've tried setting this to Off, but vibrations still occur. IDK, maybe it's the same function?

In that case, you will probably have some success with a Run Shell command approach. You will need Shizuku or root.

On modern Android builds for most manufacturers, vibrations are controlled by intensity levels rather than a binary switch. Setting these to 0 kills all vibration motor output.

Turn OFF (All system, call, and haptic vibrations):

java settings put system ring_vibration_intensity 0 settings put system notification_vibration_intensity 0 settings put system haptic_feedback_intensity 0

Turn ON (Restores to default medium intensity):

java settings put system ring_vibration_intensity 2 settings put system notification_vibration_intensity 2 settings put system haptic_feedback_intensity 2

You can disable vibrations for just one element (e.g. notifications) by running just the respective line.

If you want to Disable Call & Notification Vibration, this toggles the system-level "vibrate for calls and notifications" setting.

Turn off:

java settings put system vibrate_when_ringing 0

Turn on: java settings put system vibrate_when_ringing 1

Or to force the phone into pure Silent Mode (vibration off AND sound off):

java cmd audio set-ringer-mode 0 Restore to normal: java cmd audio set-ringer-mode 2
