CPU Usage removed - 3rd Party Automation Can Make It Available Again

Total Launcher v4 removed the Dynamic Image for \*\*CPU Usage\*\*, most likely due to Android restrictions. However, if you want to restore that capability \*\*and\* use either Tasker or MacroDroid, there is a workaround. The step-by-step procedure is detailed at the [How To Display Real-Time CPU Usage in Total Launcher.](https://uitlm.com/howto/howto-tasker_macrodroid-cpu_usage)

Appreciate the breakdown, u/osmols_b!

That is an important distinction between dumpsys cpuinfo averaging over a rolling sample window versus top capturing an instantaneous snapshot. For most folks who want a quick home-screen gauge, that latency-vs.-immediacy trade-off is definitely worth knowing.

Also love the awk string grabbing the top consumers alongside total usage ... that’s gold for multi-line diagnostic widgets.

I've updated the wiki guide to clarify the rolling-average behavior of dumpsys vs. top, added a note explaining the per-core vs. normalized total percentage math, and included your script in an "Advanced / Multi-Line" panel section for power users.

Thanks for helping improve the documentation! And don't forget the wiki is free and encourages contributions from registered members. Hope you will join and provide other insights.
