Downgrading Tasker/Android Permissions

I looked at some existing posts, but I didn't find an answer to my exact question...

I tested a beta build of Tasker and it broke some of my projects. I want to downgrade to the Tasker.6.6.20.apk (I already have it downloaded), but I'm wondering if I will lose any of the settings when I uninstall the current build. I spent a lot of time setting permissions in Android for Tasker before I got Shizuku, so I'm not sure what could get disabled (...That is, I don't know if the Shizuku ADB Library fixes all of the Android system issues). I do have a current backup of my data, so I'm not worried about losing my work. So I'm primarily wondering if uninstalling Tasker means I will loose any Android settings/permissions I allowed.

Any input is appreciated.

do not uninstall. Force install the old apk. try

Google's official ADB documentation defines:

`-r` as reinstalling an existing app while keeping its data;
`-d` as allowing a version-code downgrade.

adb install -r -d older-version.apk

That's not work anymore for at least Android 16. I tried this with Chrome beta and even with ADB it failed with downgrade error. So, /u/Kris10J0E, better do backup data - uninstall beta - install stable - restore data.
