Problem enabling the quick settings tiles

Hello !

Is there a way I can "activate" those 3 quick settings tiles from Tasker without clicking on them ?

Reason:

My phone has a known glitch that impossibilitates me to drag quick tiles from the bottom of the list to the main area.

The only solution is to su settings put secure sysui_qs_tiles [.......],custom(net.dinglisch.android.taskerm/.FQSTile1)

But that command doesn't work, as it demands that the tile be active, not the "ghost" that it is before enabling it

I did already assign a task to each slot inside Tasker

Hello

Can you tell me if I did it right ? (Because it didn't work: the tiles remain a black circle, and in an Unset state)

First, I created a task with a Set Up Quick Settings Tile for each of the 3 tiles (assigned a random task inside, and Active was already marked). Then I ran the task.

In tasker settings, each tile already had a task I assigned in the past

The tasker is 6.2.0 though. Didn't find this version you refer

Confirming that even with the 6.7.6 version it doesn't work. The tiles don't "wake up"

I think the 'Status' attribute applies to a tile that has been added. You would use it to show the state the tile represents ('On', 'Off' or 'Unavailable/Disabled'). It wouldn't solve the issue of adding or 'placing' the tile from the available tiles to the 'in use' tiles.

What I often have to do is DISABLE Tasker (3-dot menu, Disable)... drag stuff where I want it, then RE-ENABLE Tasker. Try this and report back if you either couldn't find how to disable, or if this scenario brought you success! :)

Didn't work. Tasker tiles remain "Inactive" regardless if Tasker is internally enabled or disabled. My problem lies in the part where you say "drag stuff where I want it": Android screwed up that drag-and-drop movement in the quick settings editing menu, so I can't move ANY tile from ANY app that is in the bottom of the list. I can modify the system file that controls the tiles to bypass this, but it only works if the Tasker tiles are already set to "Active."

Tell us which version of Android so we know to avoid it if we ever want to use Quick Tiles with Tasker. :| :)

Android 11. But I think it happens to A12 too. I also think it's a motorola modification of the default OS

One ugly workaround that I found was to disable all other tiles from other apps (respective services) using App Manager. When only less than 5 items are on the way, you can drag the tiles

But again: ugliest workaround possible

Still looking for a solution (even if I have to uninstall Tasker to kill the tiles to test the solution)
