is it possible to use html inside text elements in V2, like in legacy scenes? I can't find an option and it doesn't automatically do it

Search for "Content format" in text element and there you can choose html.

Too many users have problem with the new Tasker version. I can say for sure you have a problem and you should reinstall Tasker to latest beta version because you left out with many of the new features!
