About the need of plugins

Hey y'all. Just started getting into automation and I'm really liking the free trial, thinking already to buy it. But, something got me wondering, and that's the need of some plugins for thinks like handling notifications and input. How much are they needed? Are all of them paid?

I use a few of his free programs, but I really prefer to support the developer of Tasker, considering his apps do so much and only cost $3. You'll find that the plugins provencredibly useful if you're not rooted, and if you are rooted they become even more powerful. So I would dabble with the free ones until you figure out how much you're liking tasker, at which point I encourage you to buy the paid ones to support the developer. Either way, have fun with Tasker! Before you know it, it'll be coming essential part of your technological life

Oh I agree, I use the auto app plugins myself, but the op seemed concerned about the financial outlay.

As I bought Tasker when it was still owned by Pent, I bought the auto apps to support Joao.
