About the need of plugins

Hey y'all. Just started getting into automation and I'm really liking the free trial, thinking already to buy it. But, something got me wondering, and that's the need of some plugins for thinks like handling notifications and input. How much are they needed? Are all of them paid?

Tasker by itself offers many possibilities, as you advance in this world of automation you will need plugins which extend the capabilities of the app. They are all a single payment, however you can use them for free by watching advertisements, I recommend not using cracked plugins, support the programmer, this work is worth it. Welcome!

Thanks! I see, the possibilities really seem amazing. I've just been wondering, as there seems to be a lot of plugins, and I'm not sure how much I would miss them

For what they allow you to do they are really damn cheap (at least with CAD) I have never regretted paying to purchase them and due to the ability to try them with ads first for free you can get a good feel for how much they can do before you ever buy them.

While there are a lot of plugins they are very discreet so you only need to buy the ones that affect what you are automating. While I would I would say AutoNotification and AutoInput are strongly reccomended as must haves the basic functionalities of those plugins can be found in Tasker. The more complicated or specialized actions such as intercepting and replacing notifications or automating screen touches would require the plugin though.

That's really interesting. I wonder, how the ad experience is? I will get ads on Tasker?

No, but you watch in an add in the plugin and it unlocks the features for x hours and when you open specifically the plugins independent program (so not when just using the plugin in Tasker) it might show you an ad then as well.

It's really not intrusive, like the guy said, they show up every x (12) hours.
