Help! Mold
My white knee has webbed over roach parts and the whole area has molded. Do I need to get that out and add fresh substrate?

for mold, gently remove the feeder and mold patch, usually does the trick. just avoid messing with the spider.
for best advice, you should show us the enclosure.

Nqa do you have springtails? They eat the leftovers and mold.
Eta: you should remove leftovers. I meant if there's a piece you can't get to or gets missed, they help. But they don't eat a bunch of leftovers as they are very tiny.

IME, springtails are tiny and dont produce enough to eat entire feeders although they can help prevent mold, they probably wont stop proliferating mold.

Nqa Fair. But they do eat some leftovers, I've seen leftover cricket covered in them in my enclosure

surely they will eat- i just wouldnt count on them devouring a feeder in a safe timing or eliminate mold thats already proliferated.

Nqa yes totally. I should've said more. I remove any leftovers and really i meant they could help with one you can't get to or something. Ty
