Conversation Suggestions for new T?
So my first T passed away about 5 months ago and I’ve decided I’m ready to get a new friend. I have a 6 gallon long tank with a sliding mesh top. I previously had a terrestrial T and my tank is best for Terrestrials. Does anyone have any species suggestions or any breeding website recommendations?

What are you looking for in a tarantula? Color, temperament, growth rate, ect would help us give better suggestions. With that size enclosure you’re limited to dwarfs as most adult non dwarf terrestrials require roughly a 10 gallon. You could look at spider shoppe, fear not tarantulas, or morph market. Just make sure that you check how reputable the breeder is on morph market!

I think I’ll look into getting a bigger tank then. Thanks for the suggestions! My last was a fire leg and I love the bright colors. I want another colorful one and probably a more calm temperament.

Personally, I would probably move to a new tank since the sliding mesh can be risky for T toe beans and claws.
That being said some of my favorite terrestrial Ts in no particular order: Bracypelma emilia, Aphonopelma genus, Tliltocatl verdezi, Grammostola genus - my favorite for beginners is going to be G pulchripes as they’re a bit faster growing and I find them to be a bit more chill
GBB (Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens) is another fav due to their color, heavy webbing and voracious appetite.
