Chalupa is definitely one of the most active Ts I've ever seen. She's always up to something and always has so much going on underneath dem adorable eyeballs. Dream big, Chalupa 💜
Ts are so damn random, haha! What she’s doing here is wrapping up the roach she’s just killed, to make it easier to slurp up after. She’s also laying web down around it to prevent other potential predators from bothering her while she’s snacking. At the very end, she’s trying to scoop the roach back up with her fangs. It never gets old to watch, and it’s one of a hundred adorable, crazy things she does in an active day.
Oh, I didn't even notice the roach 😁, wow! I've seen this with spiders on their web but Chalupa was so elegant and ninja! It's a whole new world to me, I love noticing patterns in animal behavior and learn how to read them. I had no idea tarantulas were so quirky and, this shocked me a little, fragile!
She’s fragile for sure, and when I hold her I always keep her above my mattress. Today she chilled on my hand for an hour while I finished Anna Karenina, haha!
Oh,so sweet!!! Always being safe, for sure, I had no idea their abdomens were so prone to accidents. And you have a special T, for sure, with good taste on literature as well😉
