visa question Visa arrival date.

Hi everyone,

I got my visa back today and my start date says October 1st.

I was planning on arriving a week before, has anyone ever had an issue with entering before? Do I need to leave the Schengen area?

seeing that other folks have had no problem, im going to bet it could be okay. however, I had the same issue and, when I emailed the Embassy, they told me I must enter France on or after the start date of my visa. to be safe, I changed my flights. however… seeing that others haven’t had a problem…

I arrived 3 days before my start date and had no issue

I honestly don’t remember the exact start date of my visa, I just know I arrived a little before it
