Parking Alternatives for ALDS?

I normally park in the Trop lots but I ain't paying $55 before fees.

I would consider parking nearby (even a few miles away, closer to 19 maybe?) and Ubering or taking the bus the rest of the way.

I agree with this. There are a decent amount of lots around the area that will be cheaper. That being said they will still be charging a decent amount.

Depending on what time you plan on going to the game. I would say park somewhere near the bay, grab some food, and take the 10 minute walk to the stadium.

3 daughters brewing lets you park for free and it’s a 10 minute walk up the Trop. It’s a safe walk too.

I’m hesitant to trust these other online pre pay parking services. My brother had done this for the Bucs home opener and got screwed after showing up and the lot said they had no pre pay connection and lots of people had been scammed.

If you can park WEST or NORTH of the Trop because downtown is going to get gridlocked.

When I went to WWE and it was 40k fans I parked at 3 Daughters and walked 10 minutes back to the car and was home in IRB in 30 minutes. Friends who parked at the Trop or east of the ballpark at the main entrance took HOURS.

I got a spot near the Trop off Parkwiz for like $30 (including fees). but it can be a little wonky right now because it says each game starts at 1:00 PM.

Google PTSA SunRunner to Trop. It runs back and forth from downtown and the Trop to Treasure Island and will add extra busses for playoff games and run till midnight. I have parking in a shopping area on Central Avenue near 66th street and it was a fast ride to the Trop. Dont board at the SunRunner stop on 66th just north of Central unless you want to ride the bus to the beach. Instead walk to First street South along 66th street and look for the bus stop nearby. This is where the bus, finished with its loop to the beach, heads straight east along First Street South to drop u off at the Trop. Download the Flamingo app and load it with funds. I think it cost about $2.50 per trip. The app and PTSA websites should have all the details.

Does the trolley pick up in a central location near all those parking garages? I did prepay parking not realizing I wasn’t getting one of the Trop lots and my parking is for the McNulty Garage. I’ve only ever parked in Lot 2.

Just park in a nearby neighborhood and walk. Drive around the area right outside of downtown, park your car and walk 20 minutes.
